Destinations offers full-time enrollment for grades 4–12.

Yes. Because we are a public school, we operate under the same state guidelines as traditional public schools. This means we receive the same funding as a traditional school, and no tuition is required.

Yes. Educational materials are provided to students. Computer systems will be loaned to students based upon financial need. However, common household items and office supplies like printer ink and paper are not provided.

Destinations is a public school, thus all students who wish to enroll are admitted subject only to the enrollment requirements listed on our How to Enroll page. Enrollment applications are date/time stamped and processed in the order in which the forms are received.

Destinations develops an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) to assist students with recovering credits and moving forward toward high school graduation. However, we do not have an extensive credit recovery program for students who are more than one year behind in high school credits.

Students must be residents of the state of Colorado and must be 20 years of age or younger when they enroll. Students who turn 21 while enrolled and need additional education in order to receive a diploma may remain enrolled until they meet the graduation requirements or the end of the school year in which they turn 21, whichever occurs first. Students must also be able to demonstrate completion of their previous course-work through official transcript or homeschool portfolios.

Students can apply once enrollment for the school year is open and up until enrollment closes at the end of August. Once approved, the student will begin at the start of the enrolled school year.

Each case will be reviewed based on records from your current or former school district. Colorado state law prohibits schools from enrolling students who are currently under district or school expulsion. Approval for Destinations enrollment of previously expelled students will not be granted until the case is reviewed by our enrollment team.

Under the ESSA, beginning with information from the 2017–2018 school year, report cards must be posted annually on district websites. (ESEA section 1111(h) (1) (A), (B)(iii) and (h)(2)(A), (B)(iii)). At the core of the Colorado School Report Cards is the belief that all students can grow, and all schools can improve. While no student report card tells the full story of a child, no school report card tells the full story of a school. Education is far more than a single score or letter grade, but it is important that families and communities can see both strengths and areas that need support and improvement. Whether discussing student achievement, program monitoring, education funding, accountability, or any other education-related conversation, data is at the center of the discussion. Destinations is required by state and federal law to collect and store student and educator records.

Destinations collects Personal Identifiable Information (PII), as identified in the CDE data dictionary, for the routine day-to-day school management and operations of student services, as also listed on the CDE data dictionary fact sheet. Destinations shares these PII data points, as identified in the CDE data dictionary, with the following third party so that it can provide the day-to-day management and operations of student services to Destinations.  The CDE data information can be found at: www.cde.state.co.us.
