“I was struggling in a brick-and-mortar school. Now, with Destinations, I feel like the teachers understand me, and they teach in more of my speed. I would say nobody bullies me. That was a big problem in a brick-and-mortar school … I feel more free now.”
Destinations student*“Non-online learners think online students lack social skills—but this is not at all the case. I love the Destinations field trips that are offered. They are very versatile and include outdoor options. There are so many things, and you have more time to be social with other friends.”
Destinations student*“Folks think there’s a lack of socialization, but this isn’t true at all. Destinations allows Matthew to focus on studies and spend time on his interests (Matthew is a lifeguard). Matthew especially appreciates concurrent enrollment and was able to attend the Colorado Film School, do theater, and play the piano. He had the ability to balance his schedule and be self-disciplined.”
