Digital Learning and Diplomas: Online Grads Celebrate In-Person Milestone
More than 400 digital learners from across Colorado marked a major milestone as they gathered in person for a graduation ceremony at the School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. On May 21, 2025, students from Destinations Career Academy of Colorado crossed the stage. At Destinations Career Academy of Colorado’s ceremony, 75 graduates were honored, including three 11th-grade students graduating early.

This year’s class has demonstrated exceptional achievement, earning a total of 54 industry-recognized certifications and 128 college credits through concurrent enrollment. Among the standout graduates is LaDavian who earned a basketball scholarship, and Cannon, who received Hofstra University’s Dean’s Award Scholarship of $22,500 per year. Jonathan leaves Destinations Career Academy of Colorado with both a high school diploma and an associate degree, while Ashley has amassed an impressive collection of certifications across medical and IT pathways.
Riley has nearly completed his certification in auto mechanics through Front Range Community College, and Viola, a determined young mother, will graduate and begin her college journey.
