About Our School
CODCA Spirit
CODCA students enjoyed the option of choosing Anderson Farms or Wishing Star Farms to visit a pumpkin patch during 1st semester of the 2021-2022 school year. Kids enjoyed the farms’ offerings while mingling with peers and staff alike. Each venue hosted nearly 25 students and four staff members. This was an all-grades event for CODCA students.
CODCA middle school (MS) students enjoyed a sunny winter’s day hike at Colorado’s Dinosaur Ridge. This incredible hike allowed students to once again meet-up and catch-up from previous events or virtual classroom interactions. The hike was not quite 1.5 miles, and included dino foot prints, a unique vista ridge view and an opportunity to ask park rangers questions about discoveries at the park. The Dinosaur Ridge hike was open to MS students only.
Winter 2022, CODCA unveils its mobile lab, pushing the boundaries of bringing virtual blended learning right to the students. CODCA is a career readiness school. The high school focuses on career pathways in information technology (IT), healthcare, legal/law enforcement, outdoor hospitality, business/marketing and digital arts. CODCA earned a K12 Shark Tank award enabling our school to convert an RV into a mobile lab. This vehicle is equipped with the instruments and technology needed to support CNA nursing and phlebotomy course work and certification preparation. Digital arts pathway student Jiorgianna M. designed the mobile lab’s promotion wrap. She is in the center of the picture, along side Veronica P. who is a CNA pathway.
