Which programs are offered?

We offer two programs:

  • Environmental Service Systems [PDF] — (PDF coming soon). The careers in this pathway range from agriculture teacher to water quality manager to toxicologist. Also included in this career sector are environmental technicians and solid waste managers.
  • Natural Resource Systems [PDF] — (PDF coming soon). This program prepares students to work in anything from teaching to forest and conservation workers to conservation scientists. Also included in this career sector are loggers, soil specialists, geologists and fish hatchery managers.

Salaries vary depending on the job title, but approximate sample salaries include:

  • Forest and Conservation Workers—$12/hour
  • Environmental Science and Protection Technicians - $20/hour
  • Natural Sciences Managers (requires post-secondary education) - $57/hour
